My name is April Dickerson but I'm honestly more commonly known as Shortngeeky, a World of Warcraft guild leader. Am I a Chef? No. Food expert? Absolutely not. Then why a food blog devoted to gaming? Well, I game and eat, but my real reason is my guild.
We are a casual raiding guild which means for 3hrs 2-3 nights a week ten of us are logged in trying to coordinate battles against monsters. It takes dedication from a whole team to do this weekly. We log in by 7CST and are needed until 10. One of my raiders was constantly rushing for fast food so he could be on by 7. Others were often logging in with chips in hand or "BRB Cake". It bothered me. I would suggest "why don't you make a <insert quick food>?" but most didn't know how to cook all that much or needed more recipes that were quick and easy. The Hungry Gamer was born.
